Hi, I’m Carlos! With nearly 20 years in the Film Industry, I’ve had the privilege of turning my passion for visual storytelling into a fulfilling career. My journey began as a compositor, where I spent countless hours blending live-action footage with computer-generated imagery to craft seamless and immersive visuals. Those days of working with headphones on, diving deep into the creative process, and sharing OT meals with the team remain some of my fondest memories.

Over the years, I’ve also discovered a love for mentoring and training emerging artists. Watching new talent grow and thrive has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Now, as a VFX Supervisor, I get to combine the best of both worlds—immersing myself in the excitement of production while actively shaping and developing the next generation of compositors.

When I’m not immersed in VFX, you’ll find me exploring new places, climbing, enjoying board games, or diving into music (my playlist spans everything from jazz to techno!). Having lived and worked in London and Montreal, I’ve enjoyed my share of globetrotting adventures. These days, I’m embracing the work-from-home era in our industry and hope to continue this flexible way of working for years to come.
